We Put Safety First
Our Safety Methods Meet the Highest Standards
To meet our core values, we make safety our number one priority. Not only have we established a full-time safety department, but our team has completed 25,000 hours of safety classes for construction since 2010. We implement our safety methods and training according to the Environmental Protection Agency, Canadian Centre for Occupational Health & Safety (CCOHS), the Institute of Inspection Cleaning Restoration and Certification standards and local provincial safety boards. We are also insured and bonded for your protection. With Certificate of Recognition (COR) certification, we automatically provide you with Workers Compensation Board (WCB) clearance, plus a copy of our insurance certificate.

Our Canadian Team
















Jeff brings over 25 years’ experience to his role as Global CEO of Interstate Restoration and FirstOnSite. Jeff uses his extensive executive leadership, disaster recovery and management expertise to provide a global perspective for the U.S. and Canada leadership teams. With a focus on strategic planning, operational excellence and business development, Jeff has taken organizations from one to over 4,000 employees and from a single location to more than 75 strong. This leadership and industry expertise helps leaders advance the company’s accelerated growth plans while continuing to deliver exceptional team member and customer experiences.

Dave joined FirstOnSite in July 2009 as a member of the Board of Directors. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in August 2010. He has extensive expertise in organizational management, with a focus on the integration of entrepreneurial businesses. He has held senior leadership positions in the property and furniture restoration industry for more than 30 years.

Stacy is the founder of Interstate and a member of the Global executive leadership team and brings nearly 30 years of disaster restoration expertise to his role. As a well-known leader in the industry, Stacy’s vision, track record of success, and hands-on leadership approach paves the way for a results-driven business. He leads the Global Sales team and plays a critical role in leading day-to-day operations.

Al has more than 20 years’ senior experience that includes financial expertise, business management, information technology and mergers and acquisitions, including previous experience in the disaster restoration industry. He directs the overall daily office operations of the company and is responsible for developing and implementing short and long-term tactical and strategic plans for FirstOnSite. Al ensures its operational and internal functional teams have clear common purpose as the company continues to grow.

Peter has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, during which time he led property claims services, catastrophe coordination and vendor management. His insurance background gives him a deeper insight and perspective in providing exceptional customer service to insurance partners across Canada. Peter supports operational processes to enhance performance, customer experience and the ongoing improvement of the company’s systems, job management, KPIs, and customers’ NPS scores.

Bill returned to FirstOnSite as Senior Vice President of Western Operations, after previously leading its Central Region. He brings more than 30 years of experience in national and regional sales and operations management, franchise operations, and marketing and business development. His broad experience provides significant support and value to the company in its drive to further lead the industry.

Erik joined FirstOnSite close to three years ago as Director of Operations, with almost 20 years of senior-level leadership and operational management experience under his belt. In his time with the company he has transformed its B.C. operations into a cohesive and thriving team focused on providing an exceptional experience for its colleagues and customers.

Jamie Mackie has been with FirstOnSite since 2011 and has close to 20 years of industry experience. He began at FirstOnSite as a Project Manager and has acted as Branch Manager and Director of Operations prior to his new position as Regional Vice President in the Prairies. In his role, Jamie leads and supports his teams to ensure they maintain the highest level of customer experience in all of the company’s initiatives.

Jason has been with FirstOnSite for 12 years. His industry knowledge and experience in sales and operations are of significant value in helping the company continue to set industry standards. Jason is an original owner of one of FirstOnSite’s founding companies operating in Eastern Ontario and has been a key asset to the company through the years.

Barry has been with FirstOnSite since its inception and brings more than 30 years’ experience in the restoration industry to the company. Until recently he was President of PremiereAction, FirstOnSite’s operating business in Quebec and the National Capital Region (formerly known as Rosco Group) which he co-founded with his brother Robert in 1979. In his current role he is responsible for the development of new business in the commercial and large loss marketplace nationwide.

Darren has been with FirstOnSite for more than nine years and brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the role. He started with the company as a Construction Manager, and his commitment to excellence propelled him through the ranks to becoming Regional Vice President of the Atlantic region. Darren works closely with FirstOnSite’s national leadership team to maintain the company’s exceptional standard of customer experience.

Bill has over 15 years of national and international experience in a unique combination of senior level roles in addition to his latest five years within the disaster restoration industry. Bill’s vast knowledge from the past 20 years encompasses everything the Commercial Real Estate industry has to offer – servicing fortune 500 clients, major institutions and touching on bio-hazard remediation as a core offering. He supports FirstOnSite’s unparalleled service to provide the highest standards in disaster restoration with a strong focus on the health, safety and wellbeing of its customers and team members.

Shane has been a member of the FirstOnSite team since June 2015 and is a well-known industry leader. As Senior Vice President of Insurance Portfolio, Shane is responsible for designing and delivering the best customer experience programs for FirstOnSite’s insurance-related customers. He works closely with the company’s executives and regional leaders to make this happen.

Billy is a respected veteran of the commercial and large loss restoration business and has led restoration responses across North America for more than 20 years. He has aided efforts in every major hurricane in the U.S. from the past decade, including Hurricanes Katrina and Ike, in addition to Canadian disasters such as the Fort McMurray wildfires in 2016 and the Goderich, Ontario F3 tornado in 2011.

Beck is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of leadership experience in commercial restoration, from both an insurance and broker perspective. Throughout his career he has overseen restoration operations in some of Canada’s largest markets and led a national commercial account team working with key commercial customers on both sides of the border. Joining FirstOnSite in 2019, Beck is dedicated to using his experience to help reinforce the company’s vision of global leadership in the industry while providing an exceptional customer experience.
